About the Program:
Enjoy the season mindfully in Morehead’s GlaxoSmithKline Full Dome Theater, beneath an array of stars. This program is approximately 1 hour in duration, and does not include general admission to the museum or access to other experiences at Morehead. Read more about the program here.

Participants will be led in instruction by local yoga instructor, Laura Terry. All levels of yoga experience are welcome. This program is for older teens and adults. Please bring your own yoga mat.

About the Instructor: 
A Physical Therapist since 1998 and a yoga instructor since 2008, Laura Terry combines the science of Physical Therapy and the mind/body integration of yoga in her teaching. She also believes in the power of play and having fun while mindfully moving during her yoga classes. Laura has a private PT practice in Chapel Hill. About the program:
Morehead Planetarium and Science Center is pleased to offer astronomy programming designed to help scout groups with badgework and other goals.

Designed for scouts ages 10-13, this program will help scouts learn about astronomy as they model our Earth, Moon, and Sun; identify constellations in a simulated night sky; and use telescopes and binoculars to explore the real night sky. Additionally, they will discuss light pollution and learn about how to follow the ecliptic path of the planets in our Solar System.

Recommended for Scouts BSA or equivalent level.

Tickets for this program will go on sale on DATE, Ticket sales will close on the Wednesday prior at 6pm. Walkup ticket sales will not be available.

Cancellation/Refunds + Reschedules
All ticket sales are final and refunds are not available for absent guests or unused tickets.

In the event this program is cancelled as a result of severe weather or other closure, ticketholders will be refunded or offered a reschedule to another session (if available).

This ticket includes general admission to our exhibits, in addition to the show! Arrive prior to your show or stay after your show is over to explore our exhibits featuring research here at UNC Chapel Hill, see live science experiments in our Science Stage, visit our gift shop, or participate in hands-on activities in our Launch Lab! Check our website for our operating hours to see when exhibits are open on the day of your visit.

Tickets for this program will go on sale 2 weeks prior, and be available online up to one hour prior to showtime. Tickets will be available for purchase in our box office on the day of the program as availability permits.
