About the Show:
Get ready for tonight’s lunar eclipse -- when the full moon passes into Earth's shadow -- under the climate-controlled, always-clear planetarium sky. We'll simulate the eclipse, tour the North Carolina night sky, and take a spectacular journey through our universe. If the weather permits, join us after the show for eclipse observing from the Morehead Sundial.

Our exhibits and gift shop will be closed for this special showing of Carolina Skies, but please feel free to join us after the show (weather permitting) for eclipse observing from the Morehead Sundial
Ticket Availability: limit 10 tickets/order
Tickets for this program will go on sale on Monday 7/27, and be available online up to one hour prior to showtime. Tickets will be available for purchase in our box office on the day of the program as availability permits.

Special Program - Note on Discounts:
Since this is a special/seasonal planetarium show, walkup discounts applicable to regular planetarium shows are not available, except membership discounts.
Guest passes are not eligible to be redeemed for this program. Walk-up discounts such as UNC Faculty/Staff, ASTC, NC Zoo, and Museums 4 All are not applicable to this program.
Special Program - Refund/Cancellation Policy:
All ticket sales are final and refunds/exchanges are not available for absent guests or unused tickets. Purchased tickets for special programs may NOT be exchanged for admission to another show or guest passes. In the event this program is cancelled as a result of severe weather or other closure, ticketholders will be refunded.
