About the Show:
Scare-olina Skies: Family Edition is a Halloween-themed version of Morehead's classic star show, Carolina Skies. Come learn about stars, constellations and celestial events through legends from ancient cultures, featuring monsters, mayhem and madness!
The Family Edition of the show is adapted for younger audiences (8+) and families.
Special Program - General Admission Included:
This ticket includes general admission to our exhibits, in addition to the show! Arrive prior to your show to explore our exhibits featuring astronaut training at the planetarium, research here at UNC Chapel Hill, or visit our gift shop!
Ticket Availability: limit 10 tickets/order
Tickets for this program will go on sale two weeks in advance, and be available online up to one hour prior to showtime. Tickets will be available for purchase in our box office on the day of the program as availability permits.
Members will be able to purchase tickets to the show 2 days in advance. Since this is a special seasonal program, member discounts do not apply to this show. Members must sign-in at the top-right of the page (or register if you do not have a log-in) to be eligible to purchase tickets early. Limit 2-6 early purchase tickets/member based on membership level, limit of 50 total tickets available for pre-sale for members.

Special Program - Note on Discounts:
Since this is a special/seasonal planetarium show, discounts applicable to regular planetarium shows are not available. Members are eligible to purchase tickets early, but no other discounts are available for this program. Guest passes are not eligible to be redeemed for this program. Walk-up discounts such as UNC students and Museums 4 All are not applicable to this program.
Special Program - Refund/Cancellation Policy:
All ticket sales are final and refunds/exchanges are not available for absent guests or unused tickets. Purchased tickets for special programs may NOT be exchanged for admission to another show or guest passes. In the event this program is cancelled as a result of severe weather or other closure, ticketholders will be refunded.
